Texas Reds Festival
I participated in my first fair this weekend! Texas Reds Steak and Grape Festival was in Historic Downtown Bryan, Texas on Saturday and Sunday, featuring local wineries and breweries, a slew of musical performances, plenty of fattening festival food as well as arts and crafts vendors. I had a great time being part of the Artist Showcase and had a rather successful weekend.
I really enjoyed getting to meet and learn about other artists that were in the artist showcase. It was also really great to meet and learn about some of the people who purchased my work. I always love getting to know a little bit about where my work will end up and seeing which pieces people like best and why.
I have also created my first set of prints of my work. I was very pleased to have them ready for the festival and to see them sell so well!
Texas Reds Festival was an awesome way to share my work, debut my Tiny Texas series, and meet other artists. I had a great time, and now that I have recovered from the exhaustion of my very long and full weekend, I am looking forward to creating more work and looking into participating in other art fairs.
Also on the horizon: I am currently working on setting up an online shop so I can sell my originals and prints over the internet! Be on the lookout for the announcement of its opening!
